Robber’s cave

Witness the miracle of Nature at the Robber’s Cave, which is approximately 8km from Dehradun. Robber’s Cave is a 600 M elongated naturally formed cave. A river passes through this cave making this place a perfect picnic spot for family and friends.

Raja ji national park

Encompassing the Shivalik mountain ranges, Rajaji National Park is abundantly rich in flora and fauna and proves a great holiday destination for nature lovers and wildlife enthusiasts alike. Jeep Safari or Elephant Safari organised by the Forest Department, the 34 km jungle track is a major attraction here. You can spot Asian Elephants, Tiger and King Cobra, Panther, Bear, Chital, Sambar, Wild Boar, Kakar, Python, Monitor Lizard, Wild Cats.

Opening Hours: 06:00 AM to 11:00 AM for morning sessions and 2:30 pm to 5:30 pm for afternoon sessions

Shikara falls

This is one of the best places for Dehradun sightseeing, as it is an awe-striking wonder of nature. Kalsi

A small village set on the outskirts of Dehradun, Kalsi is known for its calm environment and breathtaking Himalayan views. The most popular attraction of this village is the Ashokan Rock Edict, a monument that has quite significance in Indian history. Ashoka, the Great Mauryan King was engraved in this Edict in 253 BC.

Gun Hill

Gun Hill is one of the most prominent tourist attractions for tourists who visit Mussoorie. It is the second-highest peak in Mussoorie. Irrespective of the time of the month, do carry woollen clothes with you. Views from the top of the Gun Hill peak are bound to leave you spellbound.

Nag tibba trek

Located in the vicinity of Mussoorie, Nag Tibba is a lesser known yet exhilarating trekking trail. Also called the Serpent’s peak, Nag Tibba is one of the highest peaks situated at the Nag Tibba range. Adorned by the lush-greenery and a wide variety of flora and fauna which adds beauty to this place. Nag Tibba is considered to be one of the finest places to visit near Mussoorie. The time required to do this trek is around 2 days.

George everest

The house of the famous Welsh geographer and surveyor, Sir George Everest, has now been converted into a museum. Sir George was so mesmerized by the beauty of Mussoorie that he stayed here for three decades. His house is one of the major Mussoorie tourist spots and was built in the year 1832. People can enjoy the views of Aglar River Valley and its lush greenery around the house.

Dhanaulti
